Serp scanner is a new tool, using advanced technologies, and we are optimizing this application the moment we speak. All the raw data provided in the tables should be accurate, the scans are performed properly.

We hope to provide you the following functionalities in the near future :
1) Dynamic graphics : currently a 3rd party tool, that is used to translate raw data into charts does not work properly due to hosting issues. The data in the tables is accurate.
2) Automated scan : currently the trigger to execute the scan is manual in order to garanty proper results. So the time of scan can be different from day to day. Never the less, we are setting up a fix schedule in the near future and in the mean time we keep on scanning every day.
3) Google and Yahoo domains and language se's : in the near future you will be able to scan google.de, google.co.uk, etc. Also, you will be able to list websites in a specific language ; fe. all websites in french, or in spanish, etc.

We are sorry for this inconvenience. Therefore you can use our tool free of charge, untill we are truly satisfied with our product.

In the mean time, you can help us to improve this product to be perfect, and adjusted to your needs. We need your input ! 1) If you somehow see different results from the real serp in google, yahoo or msn ; please contact us asap. 2) Also, if the reports are not according to your requirements, let us know. We can adjust them or make new type of reports.

With SERP Scanner you can scan and monitor the position of your website

SERP scanner allows you to monitor the exact position of your website in the resultpages of Google, Yahoo and MSN. SERP stands for Search Engine Ranking Position ; which means the position of your website in the listings of a search engine.

None of the search engines provides a tool that allows you to monitor its SERP. The only way to verify the position of your website in a search engine is to manualy perform a search in Google, Yahoo or MSN and check resultpage after resultpage, looking for your website to appear.

Manually scanning all resultpages of each search engine, and this every day, for multiple search-phrases or queries can be very time-consuming. So therefore, we build a tool that does all this "scanning work" for you, on a daily basis.

Why track SERP ?

The more people visit your website, the better. And Google, as the major search engine, forwards many internet-users to websites. In general Google-users read mainly the first 3 resultpages, of a performed search. In other words, only the first 30 websites have good potential to be visited. SEO's and webmasters aim to be ranked within the first 30 results of a search engine for specific keyphrases ; and so, the better the ranking, the more visitors.

The major goal of monitoring SERP is to know the position of your website in the listings. Even more, you would want to know which pages rank good and which don't. Also, sometimes your keywords don't reach their full potential, as in a low ranking for certain keyphrases. And this is where our tool will help to adjust your keyword-strategy.

How to use

The only input required is : (1) Your domainname and (2) The keywords and keyphrases to search for. The SERP Scanner will match all the pages of your domain that are displayed within Google's resultpages, Yahoo's listings and MSN's listings. Next you can see the evolution of the ranking positions in tables and charts.

We promote the use of Google Analytics, which provides excellent charts and data on traffic and visitor of your website. Also the use of Googles Toolbar in order to know your PageRank. Google's PageRank tells you the 'weight' or 'score' that Google itself assigns to your website. Eventhough, PageRank is a different indicator then the real SERP.
